SAFTD Fundamentals and Safety Training (F.A.S.T. Handgun)
The Second Amendment Foundation Training Division - (SAFTD) Fundamentals and Safety Training (F.A.S.T.) is an introductory level course designed for a person new to the use of a handgun for personal defense. The goal of the course is to provide the basic knowledge and skills with a handgun necessary to establish a solid foundation for continued learning. Topics include safe handling and operation, safe storage, shooting fundamentals, cleaning and maintenance, handgun selection and more. This course is great for someone who wants an introduction to firearms and practice with various defensive shooting drills on the range. Upon successful completion, the student will receive a certificate from the Second Amendment Foundation Training Division which is recognized by O2 Gun Group, LLC as acceptable prerequisite training for the NRA Defensive Pistol course, an intermediate level course.
